Aurora Governance Conference

Aurora is lucky to have the expertise of over fifty governors who volunteer their time on our Local Academy Boards as well as the ten trustees who sit on the trust board. For the last three years, the annual Aurora governance conference has provided the opportunity for our parent, staff and community governors to come together and reflect on their work whilst planning for the future. This year we were delighted to welcome Samira Sadeghi from the Confederation of School Trusts as our keynote speaker. Samira is a governance expert who skilfully guided delegates through a series of thought-provoking activities. 

Governors also had the opportunity to find out more about the updated Aurora school improvement strategy and the key role they play in providing the support and challenge our schools need to enable them to build on the excellent work they do.
